Group Swimming Sessions
Our junior swim sessions are open to pure swimmers and those getting into biathlon or triathlon. Perhaps your child has been to swimming lessons in the past or they love swimming and are looking for sport specific regular swim sessions. We're not like other swimming clubs, our friendly style and modern coaching methods will help your child enjoy swimming and learn to swim more comfortably with great technique too. We have positive vibes between all members and coaches and your child will feel welcomed from the outset.
These sessions are designed for juniors age 8+ who can already swim 50m continuously. If they need a bit more help to reach this level, we can help them with 1:1 Coaching Sessions first.
Tri Swim Juniors
Abingdon School Sports Centre
Your child's fitness and technique in all four strokes will improve enabling them to swim further for longer. Each swimmer is given a suitable swimming volume for their ability.
Older juniors will train using specific fitness zones to improve their unique threshold speed and cardio vascular/respiratory fitness.
Sessions include learning starts and turns techniques for biathlon and triathlons.
Age 11+, must be able to swim 100m comfortably.

We're a friendly bunch but we know joining a new squad can be a little daunting at first. Our squad is open to everyone age 11+ who can swim 50m, no matter what your swimming background or experience. We're not like other swimming clubs, we're very friendly and welcoming.

Meet Coach Beth
Swimming is my passion! I believe in giving every swimmer of every age the skills to make them the best that they can be. I have been involved with swim teaching and coaching competitive swimmers aged 3-70 for over 12 years in addition to my full time job in education.
I have three children all of whom swam competively for many years; my youngest is still competing, my oldest has transferred his passion to water polo now that he is at University. Two of them also enjoy coaching and are qualified swim teachers. They also competed to National Level at biathlon (though much stronger in the pool than on the track)
I am an ASA (now British Swimming) level 2 coach and level 2 teacher.
